MLC Farm will be hosting its first Course Day at By the Hounds Farm. On Saturday, June 07
We will offer riders an opportunity to jump two courses at their own speed for $30. Fence Heights will start at 2’0-2’3 and move up to 3’6 by the end of the day. Times for Heights are as followed:
9:30 Mini Jumpers – Fence Height 2’0-2’3
10:30 Low Jumpers – Fence Height 2’6
12:00 Puddle Jumpers – Fence Height 3’0
1:00 Schooling Jumpers – Fence Height 3’6
2:00 Modified Jumpers – Fence Height 4’0

The MLC Farm Summer Horse Show on June 15 and 16 has been added to the A.I.R Show Jumping League Schedule. Earn points and qualify for the League finals in September. For more information on A.I.R Show Jumping League go to http://www.airshowjumping.com

On Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15, 2014, MLC Farm at By the Hounds there will be a Jumper Horse Show and a Hunter Derby. On Saturday, the morning will start at 8 am with Short Stirrup and Leadline. Jumpers will follow and will begin with the 2’0-2’3, 2’6-2’9, 3’0-3’3 and finish with the 3’6 division. A $250 Classic will be offered in all the Jumper divisions (except short stirrup) with a $500 Classic for the 3’6 division. Sunday’s competition will begin at 9 am and will feature a $250 2’3 Hunter Derby and a $250 3’0 Hunter Derby. Prior to each Derby an unjudged warm-up class will be offered.

On Saturday, the morning will start at 8 am with Short Stirrup, Leadline and a $250 Pleasure Classic. Jumpers will follow and will begin with the 2’3, 2’6-2’9, 3’0-3’3 and finish with the 3’6 division. A $250 Classic will be offered in all the Jumper divisions with a $500 Equine Rescue Classic for the 3’6 division. Sunday’s competition will begin at 9 am and will feature a $250 2’3 Hunter Derby and a $250 3’0 Hunter Derby. Prior to each Derby an unjudged warm-up class will be offered. Winners of all the $250 Classic will win a Smith Worthington Bridle donated by Manning Restoration. The winner of the $500 Equine Rescue Classic will win a bridle and a sheet donated by Dolly’s Tack Shop.
A silent auction and raffle will begin Saturday and will continue throughout Sunday. Highest bidders do not need to be present to win. All proceeds from the auction will go directly to Equine Rescue 501(c)3. If you would like further information, please call MLC Farm at (845)677-5232.

Sunday’s competition will begin at 8:30 am and will feature a $500 2’3 Hunter Derby, a $500 2’6 Hunter Derby and a $500 3’0 Hunter Derby. Prior to each Derby an unjudged warm-up class will be offered.
